New for 2021, the Maverik M5 EKG Should Pads provide high-level protection with Maverik’s External Kardiac Guard (EKG) and added shoulder and arm protection.

Maverik’s traditional fit is built with comfort and mobility in mind. The adjustable Comfortfit Arch gives players a personalized fit, coverage, and drape. The Quickdry Liner wicks moisture away and keeps the pads dry and cool. Anaform chest and spine plates are designed to withstand high velocity impacts. The Durastretch Panels across the torso allow the pads to move comfortably with the body.

The External Kardiac Guard (EKG) meets the new NOSCAE performance standard ND200 to help address Commotio Cordis.

Are the arm pads detachable

Yes you can remove the bicep pads. There is a little velcro strap on both sides towards the shoulder.

Thank you for reaching out! Yes, the bicep pads on the Maverik M5 EKG Lacrosse Shoulder Pads are removable. Maverik made the bicep pads with velcro straps so it makes removing the bicep pads simple and easy. Hope this helps!

Great question! Yes, Maverik's M5 EKG Lacrosse Shoulder Pads meet the new NOCSAE rules. The EKG in the name is for Maverik's External Kardiac Guard. Which protects against Commotio Cordis. If you are ever curious about pads meeting NOCSAE rules. There will be either stickers or like most chest protectors. There will be a tag labeling that that they are NOCSAE approved. NOCSAE red tag is labeled "EKG" and is located at the lower left oft the pad. Hope this helps!

Thank you for reaching out! Maverik currently only offers Small, Medium, and Large in the Maverik M5 EKG Lacrosse Shoulder Pads. If you scroll down to the "Size Chart" drop down at the bottom of this page. You will be able to see how Maverik sizes their shoulder pads and see what they suggest will be the best size that fits you or your lacrosse player. Maverik measures there sizes by weight and height. If you or your lacrosse player are in between what they suggest, you will always rather the shoulder pad fit a little tighter than to be moving around. If the shoulder pads are moving around then not only will the pads annoy you or your lacrosse player. They will not properly protect you, the whole point of the EKG Guard to is to sit on the designated portion of the chest to protect the heart. Hope this helps!

Warranty

Maverik Lacrosse warrants, to original customer only, that Maverik protective and gloves will be free from defects during normal use for one (1) month from the date of original retail purchase.

All warranty claims must meet the following criteria in order to be returned: item was purchased from an authorized Maverik Lacrosse Dealer; the customer retains proof of purchase from the original transaction; the item has not been abused, altered, defaced, or otherwise negligently damaged; and the return was handled properly according to the Maverik return process.
